DRIVEN BOAR & DEER POLAND

January 2005 Approx. two hours from Poznan
 3 days shooting.  Our shooting was very poor, hence the low result!!
Group 1.  13 rifles:  fired 82 SHOTS IN THREE DAYS for 2 roe, 1 stag, 5 boar & 1 fox.
Group 2 .  12 rifles:  fired 105 SHOTS IN THREE DAYS for 1 stag lost, 1 Fallow doe, 2 Red hinds & 11 Boar

            
Some of the different dogs used in the beating line. Tough and determined, they may lick your hand...
 but behave quite differently when wild Boar are in the vicinity ! 

                              
Hotel very comfortable with large bedrooms and shower. The food here was excellent.

           
The first picture shows one of the genetic throwbacks which appear from time to time in wild pigs.

   
        Another genetic throwback appeared at dinner one evening. The good crack in the evenings is as important as the actual shooting day!
