We were two groups in January 2003
       Group 1. 3 days shooting. 9 rifles. 13 Boar, 4 roe does, 2 foxes, 1 fallow doe & 2 red hinds
       Group 2. 3 days shooting. 11 rifles. 10 boar, 1 roe doe, 4 red hinds, 2 red calves.

Start of the day - checking the dogs and meeting the beaters. The out to the woods for 8 am and start the first drive!

Transport was by minibus in the forest and amazinlgy we were never stuck. Lunch each day in the forest with soup & a roll.

It was minus 23 degrees C one day! Sunglasses are still needed on those glorious but cold/dry days.

A bird dog on a driven Boar hunt? We were never sure what the Pointer was doing! The final parade and salute to the game at the end of the day.

Back at the comfortable hotel it was a chance to boast about the days events or tease about the failures. New friendships struck over the excellent Polish beer and really good food.

Our hotel was really comfortable and all the rooms had private facilities. We plan to return in early 2005...are you joining us?
